Nominations close soon

The Mount Alexander Business Awards are on again and time is running out to nominate your favourite business.

“The business awards aim to showcase and encourage business excellence within the shire,” said David Leathem, Manager Economy and Culture, Mount Alexander Shire Council.

“Local businesses are the backbone of our community with the provision of local jobs, and a broad range of products and services,” said Mr Leathem.

“If you would like to recognise the valuable contribution, entrepreneurial spirit or innovation of a local business then make sure you get your nomination in by 31 March.

“Your vote will help recognise their hard work and achievements,” he said.

The awards are open in six categories:

  • Manufacturing, construction and trade
  • Agribusiness
  • Retail, hospitality and tourism
  • Microbusiness
  • Professional services
  • Creative and cultural

To be in the running, a business must be nominated, or can self-nominate by the end March.
