Nominate your favourite business

Do you know an outstanding or inspirational business operating in the shire? The Mount Alexander Business Awards are on again and it’s time to nominate your favourite business.

“The awards are designed to showcase and encourage business excellence in the shire,” said Sharon Telford, Mayor of Mount Alexander Shire.

“Whether you have a favourite place to shop or dine, a preferred health provider or a trade business that has provided a service for you at home, why not show your support by nominating them to enter the awards,” said Cr Telford.

“All you need to do is tell us who you’re nominating and why. Your vote will help publicly acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of local businesses,” she said.

The awards are proudly run by Mount Alexander Shire Council in partnership with Maldon & District Community Bank® and media partner The Midland Express / Castlemaine Mail.

Nominations are open in six categories:

  • Manufacturing, construction and trade
  • Agribusiness
  • Retail, hospitality and tourism
  • Micro business
  • Professional services
  • Creative and cultural.
